The story is a couple of years old by now, I think, and the kid is endorsing Gatorade.
This story reminds me of Tyler (I don’t remember his last name, was it Bundy?). After his car accident that left him unable to play sports or even communicate clearly we elected him Homecoming King. Do you remember that?
